In a context where shows meet many constraints, and to make its events accessible to a large number of people, Château de Versailles Spectacles has trusted Kinow to create its own online platform!

Louis XIV called to his court the most brilliant artists of his time and contributed to the advent of new styles. This royal setting fashioned by the arts was at the heart of the most splendid festivities.
True to its history, Château de Versailles continues today to be the backdrop for a rich cultural life and a great variety of events.
Shows and performances are programmed all year long in exceptional settings – open air shows, Versailles Fountains Shows, costume receptions – and a musical season at the Royal Opera and the Royal Chapel of Château de Versailles, with operas, concerts, theatre plays and ballets, interpreted by world-renowned artists.
The public online platform also offers content around the world of Versailles. From royal figures (Louis XIV, Louis XV, Louis XVI, Marie-Antoinette) to composers (Mozart, Lully, Vivaldi, Berlioz, Haydn,...) nothing is left to chance.
A 100% customizable platform thanks to a turnkey solution

Moreover, when hovering over the thumbnails, it is possible to read the summary of the video, a feature that improves user experience and that is found on the largest streaming platforms.

At the moment, about twenty shows are online. The platform has chosen a TVOD model, that is to say unit rental, to monetize its videos. In a second time, following the release of new exclusive content, Château de Versailles Spectacles will be able to offer subscriptions (SVOD model).
Finally, as our solution is constantly evolving, 3 major developments will soon see the light of day on this platform:
- Prepayment integration.
This feature allows a user to recharge a prepaid account with credits or currency. Then, he/she can use this account to pay for contents in his shopping cart.
- Integration of downloadable bonus files into a product.
Users can choose to download content such as appendixes or bonuses, like show-specific presentation booklets (artists, story, costumes, chapters).
- Integration of a new audio streaming player on the VOD platform
Users can now listen to classical music in high quality.
While waiting for these various functionalities, the video platform has been deployed in only 1 month, a record at Kinow.
