New offices for Kinow in the city center of Nantes
Kinow took the pluge forwards by integrating its own offices in Strasbourg, Nantes, after 14 months in Lengow's startups incubator, the Octopus! With a view to internationalization and expansion of its team Kinow has opted for offices of 250 m² in the city center of Nantes.
The idea is to be able to continue to structure and to have enough space for the growth of its team.
The boom of the economy on demand
Popular by the astonishing success of the young companies of Silicon Valley, Uber and Airbnb, the term economy on demand is now on everyone's lips. SVOD and VOD fit perfectly into these new modes of instant consumption. A growing practice in generations more and more connected and willing to contain: "anytime, anywhere, any device".
Kinow also wants all publishers to possess video content to sell it to their community via their own VOD service easily and without any initial investment.
Phillipe SANG, former lead developer at PrestaShop (2007 to 2010) and Pierre ANTOINE, profile engineer specializing in innovation marketing, decide to combine their skills around a common project. They approach the idea of developing a new SaaS solution in order to offer a native VOD-oriented e-commerce solution for the merchant and an intuitive navigation for the end user. After an R & D phase more than one year, the product is officially marketed in 2015 and obtains a fund raising of 370,000 euros.
Thanks to its solution available in French and English, Kaemo deals with a panel of international clients. In 2017 Kaemo becomes KINOW by integrating its new offices in Nantes, France.
